About The Invisible Foreigner

Hmm... I suppose I'm just another guy who can't frame a shot, but loves to take them anyway. I'm currently working as an Assistant Language Teacher in Sassy Sasebo, Japan. Desperately craving a D80 or some other fancy shmancy camera, but knows that it's 1) out of price range, and 2) like replacing a toddler's crayons with prismacolours... Currently using a Sony DSC-T7. Battery sucks, contrast sucks, it's noisy and I couldn't be happier... I think even if I made the jump to pseudo-prosumer I'd still use this P&S. Spent a good amount of time searching for a website to start a photoblog and I found you guys!!! BTW there's nothing that makes me sad... Other than reaching the end of a giant parfait...

*Edit* Got me an EOS 400D! Huzzah! Does that mean the picture quality is going to skyrocket? HIGHLY DOUBTFUL.

But's it's a lot of fun to play with.

It's been a while since I've updated this badboy. Hmm... Still using the EOS 400D. Good times! I'm back in Toronto, working for the Ministry of Unemployment. The hours are FANTASTIC, but the pay is somewhat lacking. I suppose my interest in photography comes from my horrible memory. I find reminiscing to be a exercise in futility, but let me see a photo I took and I can tell you almost every rediculous detail. I thought I had no idea what kind of photography I was interested in, but judging from the categories, it would appear that portrait pics are my bag.

You would think that would mean I can take a proper portrait... SIIIIIIIGH...
